With this album I created my own version and vision of slow beat electronica. Before i made the album the idea was actually to create a slow tempo bass music album to explore the spaces which are opening between the main drum elements (kick and snare).
These spaces become significantly bigger and can therefore be filled with way more elements if you lower the overall tempo.
It gave me the freedom to work in double time elements and 1/32 bar editing and patterns (to add a certain drive) and it made me open my head for new software instruments which subsequently defined the sound of the album.
Although the albums tempo is slower over all there's much to hear within the structure of the tracks. It's a powerful album from the beginning to the end.
