about

when i heard "the 1984 show" by Almark (synthoelectro.bandcamp.com), i wanted to make remixes of it immediately. i loved the broke up structures, the patterns in which the samples were played and pitched, the stereopanning work, and over all, i loved the mood it put me in.
to put it short: his original is pure avant-garde at its best.
in my opinion it takes a lot of imagination to produce such a beautiful, cut up piece of mind-trip-movie-ambient - and so it requires a lot from the listeners ears and mind.
what i made from it is banging, noisy, industrial techno - basically because this is what happened inside me when i listened.
i´m deeply grateful that he let me put hands on it!
don´t forget to take the time and listen to the original and to check the originator!!!
