I started this project roundabout 2 months before release, my idea was to gather 10 MCs for an album, using only one beat. The highest number of people involved was around the middle of the time counting 9 rappers. Of those rappers i counted in, 6 cancelled their contribution for several personal reasons afterwards. I thought about cancelling myself until the first track was really sent to me. My fire began to burn again.
It would not have been fair to cancel at this point.
In the end it´s an EP with 3 MCs, all great tracks by great vocalists - Akecheta from Switzerland, Flash! from UK and Cash: the Root from the US.
The Idea of using only one beat is rooted in the reggae tradition of one-riddim-albums with different vocalists.
